Meal-Per-Ton programme
Started with a vision to provide nutritious and adequate meals to the underprivileged, our Meal-Per-Ton initiative is a food donation programme where we provide one meal per ton of steel sold. Up to 6,000 meals a month reach orphanages, schools for special-needs students and non-profit old age homes across South India, in partnership with organisations such as Sri Sathya Sai Nitya Anna Seva and ISKCON. Our dealers contribute too, from fans and water purifiers to groceries. The Devnar School is among the beneficiaries.
Medical camps & blood donation drives
We conduct 10-15 medical check-ups a year at our factories, with blood and sugar tests and a doctor-on-call service, and run blood donation drives with the St. Theresa's Hospital blood bank. Medical camps are extended to masons, promoting health at the workplace.
Supporting the people who build
Our insurance covers all the masons who support MS Life voluntarily. We also take care of their medical expenses in case of any unfortunate incident.

Our CSR policy, framed under Section 135 of the Companies Act, directs activities towards eradicating hunger and malnutrition, preventive healthcare, education and skill development, rural development and safe drinking water.
